Cinzia Víquez

Cinzia Víquez is Legal Manager and Sustainability Leader at BDO in Costa Rica, with a solid academic background and extensive experience in environmental law. She combines in-depth knowledge of the environmental legal and regulatory framework with strong professional experience, enabling her to provide technical and legal solutions to companies that integrate sustainability into their operations.

Throughout her career, Cinzia has gained significant experience in legal advisory services focused on compliance with environmental regulations, providing ongoing support to companies in managing and securing the proper authorizations and licenses. Her work includes comprehensive due diligence assessments related to land use, maritime-terrestrial zones, and protected wilderness areas, enabling clients to identify and mitigate risks in their projects.

Her experience spans a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, hospitality, tourism, natural resources, real estate, and construction. Cinzia brings an integrated perspective that combines regulatory compliance with the promotion of sustainable practices, helping companies incorporate sustainability as a core strategic pillar.

Cinzia is a Juris Doctor and Public Notary, and holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Law. She is an active member of the Costa Rican Bar Association and the National Directorate of Notaries.
